Harmony Field Sales Manager
Position Summary
The Harmony Field Sales Manager is responsible for leading and developing the field sales team to drive sell-through performance through execution, product placement, and cross-functional alignment. This role focuses on maximizing visibility, ensuring product quality, and aligning supply with demand across all retail locations. Harmony Brands operates on a pay-by-scan model, where success is driven by product placement, in-store execution, and customer awareness, not direct selling. This leader ensures sod and core products are positioned for maximum visibility while driving awareness of key programs such as home delivery. Lead the field sales team to secure and maintain optimal product placement, with emphasis on keeping sod front and center in high-traffic areas
- Drive accountability around display location, setup, and presentation standards
- Ensure stores are set with the right product mix, volume, and positioning
- Conduct field visits to reinforce execution standards and correct placement issues
- Partner with store teams to improve visibility and accessibility
- Drive awareness and adoption of the home delivery program
- Ensure field teams communicate program benefits effectively
- Increase usage through signage, placement, and engagement
- Support initiatives that improve customer experience
- Identify opportunities within existing accounts and new growth avenues
- Drive performance within key retail partners
- Evaluate new product and placement strategies
- Monitor competitive activity and trends
- Act as link between field execution, supply chain, and farm partners
- Communicate demand trends and needs
- Maintain strong farm relationships
- Help prevent stockouts and overages
- Ensure product quality meets standards
- Resolve quality issues quickly
- Partner with inventory teams on product flow and shrink
- Ensure right product, place, and timing
- Track and improve sell-through performance
- Analyze placement, inventory, and condition drivers
- Develop action plans for underperforming locations
- Ensure execution of pricing and promotions
- Lead, coach, and develop field team
- Build culture of accountability and ownership
- Recruit and develop future leaders
- Provide feedback and performance management

Qualifications
- 3–7+ years leadership experience in field sales, retail, or operations
- Strong understanding of retail merchandising impact
- Experience with supply chain or agriculture preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proven leadership and execution ability
- Willingness to travel
